Workshop Overview
This workshop will feature a live therapy demonstration with an audience volunteer who has been struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety, and self-doubt. You will get to see, in real time, what works, and what doesn’t work, and why. In addition, you will gain a far deeper appreciation of how you can bring rapid recovery to your patients.
Approximately 2.5 hours will be devoted to the live therapy demonstration, including teaching points as the session evolves. Following the live session, Dr. Burns and Dr. Jill Levitt will lead a teaching discussion and Q&A to deepen your understanding of the methods used, highlight common errors therapists make, and help you translate what you’ve learned directly into your own practice.
100% attendance and completion of CE survey after the workshop is required to receive CE certificate of completion.

Instructor Biographies
David Burns, M.D.- https://www.feelinggood.com/about/
Dr. Jill Levitt is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Director of Training at the Feeling Good Institute in Mountain View, CA. Dr. Levitt has over 20 years of experience conducting Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and has been trained by some of the world’s leaders in CBT. She has co-written several scholarly articles in the areas of OCD, PTSD and Panic Disorder. Most recently she has been co-teaching CBT with Dr. David Burns at the Stanford University School of Medicine in her role on the Adjunct Clinical Faculty in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She also trains other therapists in David Burns’ model of CBT called TEAM-CBT Therapy. She is a certified Level 5 Master Therapist and Trainer in TEAM-CBT Therapy. Dr. Levitt teaches both in-person and online workshops for Feeling Good Institute on CBT methods, reducing resistance in psychotherapy, and improving the effectiveness of psychotherapy.
