CBT and Exposure Techniques That Work (2 CEs)

Description
Break the Cycle of Fear, Anxiety and Avoidance. When anxiety strikes, clients often engage in significant avoidance behaviors, leading to more anxiety, and poor quality of life. Even with the best tools, therapists may find themselves unsure how to move forward—especially when clients resist exposure or believe their anxiety is permanent. In this powerful 2-hour webinar, renowned psychiatrist and best-selling author David Burns, M.D. joins Jill Levitt, Ph.D., Director of Training at Feeling Good Institute to teach you how to overcome your own and your patients’ resistance to exposure, and how to use CBT-based exposure methods to help your patients recover from anxiety.

Learning Objectives:
1. Identify two CBT techniques that help clients face their biggest fears
2. Explain the difference between gradual exposure and flooding

This is an asynchronous (pre-recorded) webinar. In order to obtain CE credit you must pass (70% or higher) the knowledge test and complete the CE survey.
