Course Description:
Insomnia plagues millions of adults in the United States today, and can contribute to a variety of other mental health struggles - including depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. This free one hour course will teach one of the most important tools in CBT-I which is the first line treatment for insomnia according to the American College of Physicians. You will learn:
- Tools to screen and make recommendations for sleep apnea assessment.
- How to use a Sleep Diary to better understand your client's sleep challenges
- How to calculate a healthy sleep routine to get your client's quality of sleep to improve.
- How to gradually increase the time your client is sleeping, so that sleep quantity improves.

Learning Objectives:
Following completion of the webinar, you will be able to:
1. Identify two contraindications for sleep quality training.
2. Teach clients how to complete a sleep diary

Instructor Bio for LJ Davis:
LJ Davis is licensed as a counselor in GA, NC, and CA. He has been in practice for 16 years, and loves helping people change their mood and improve their sleep. He is a Level 4 TEAM Therapy Trainer and he has completed 3 days of training with Colleen Carney, PhD - one of the leaders in the field of CBT-I.
