Course Description:
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is the 4th most common mental illness. Patients who struggle with OCD can experience high functional impairment and poor quality of life. A specific form of CBT, called Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, has been found to be an effective treatment for OCD. ERP methods coupled with powerful motivational tools can help OCD sufferers live a happier and more fulfilling life. You will learn: how to assess for OCD, how to explain OCD to your patients, tools to enhance motivation in your patients, and effective exposure methods for OCD. During this course you will have opportunities for practice via live role-plays.

Can't attend live? A recording of the workshop will be sent to all who register. Please note that CEs can only be provided to those who attend live. 100% attendance and completion of CE survey after the workshop is required to receive CE certificate of completion.

Instructor Biographies
Magdalene Holtam, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in California that specializes in providing evidence-based treatments, such as TEAM-CBT and ERP, to individuals with OCD, anxiety and other mood disorders. Dr. Holtam has more than 15 years of experience conducting Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is a graduate of the International Obsessive Compulsive Foundation's Behavior Therapy Institute and a member of the International Obsessive Compulsive Foundation. Magdalene is a certified Level 5 Master Therapist and Trainer in TEAM-CBT therapy. She also trains and supervises other clinicians in implementing TEAM-CBT effectively with their clients.

Kyle Jones, Ph.D. is a clinical psychology postdoctoral fellow affiliated with Feeling Good Institute in Mountain View, California. Kyle has been practicing TEAM-CBT since 2016, when he joined Dr. Burns’ Tuesday night training group at Stanford. Kyle received his PhD in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University in 2021 with an emphasis in LGBTQ+ psychology. He is a contributor to the Feeling Good App, currently under development.
